What is the Healthy Start Screening?

It is just a short form you complete with at your prenatal provider’s office in a private setting.  It includes questions about anything that could affect the health of your baby.  Your answers are strictly confidential.

How do I qualify?

Your prenatal provider will review your answers on the screening form to find out if you need extra help during your pregnancy.  The program is voluntary and available to all Florida residents.  Eligibility is based on your screening score, not on income.  You will not lose eligibility in any other program if you agree to participate.
